Everything at Deb’s is just BEYOND. I’ve eaten a lot of pastries in my life, and Deb’s ranks at the top of my list.
Every pastry there was the best it could possibly be. Fresh, flaky, tender, well balanced flavors, and I loved that they change all the time! Standouts for me this visit were the blood orange and pistachio galette, and the Chicago dog croissant, and the French onion croissant. The quiche and the breakfast galette were standouts too! You’ll be hard pressed to find something you don’t like here. The counter staff is so friendly and kind. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself, again and again. I can’t wait to go back!

Bravo, maestro! Your pastries bring back so many beautiful memories from different moments of my life: the first croissant I tried in Paris, a creamy cheesecake in Spain, and my grandmother’s homemade cookies. Only true talent and pure love could create such an exceptional gastronomic experience.
I don’t have any photos of my purchases simply because they disappeared faster than I could even open my camera app! Thank you for the magic you create in your kitchen.

Visited Deb’s bake shop today and WOW! The shop had an impressive array of both savory and sweet pastries. Deb was so kind and walked us through all the baked goods along with notes on how she bakes some of her favorites. We clearly doubled down on the sweets! The banana snicker pudding was heavenly good! The almond Jésuite was also a fan favorite. Will be back to try the savory ones! A must visit when you are in town.

Everything we ate here was so good, I totally forgot to take pictures. Every single food item was so fresh and delicious.
Edit: i went again and took the below pictures, the flakiness of pastries here needs to be studied

I don't know that you would expect to find an excellent bakery in an unassuming building in Middletown, MD, but with Deb's you would in fact find one. I've now been twice, and all of the baked goods I have tried are excellent. If they have a pecan bun, you absolutely have to try it. I don't even like bakery cookies, and I thought their confetti cookie was delicious! If you're going to Annapolis Rock, this is only a short drive for a post-hike goodie. Plus, the whole operation is super adorable.

Well worth the trip from NOVA. Cannot believe the taste. European quality, dough you die for and the flavors unreal. Great people will answer any questions about the pastry. Opened only Thursday to Saturday. When they sell out closes early then so don’t wait until late afternoon to get there. Service quick.

This is the best bakery in the DMV. I have never gotten something I wasn't impressed with here. I don't know how the variety in menu continues to be evolving and delicious but that's the case here.
The staff is warm, welcoming, and very kind. You leave with not only delicious food but a warm smile because of the genuine hospitality and enthusiasm of the people working there. The only negatives are the size of the store, the lack of a seating area, and its location.
If you are looking for incredible cookies, cakes, pies, or anything baked and you are within a 2 hour drive (I've just stood in line with a couple who drove that far to get here) start heading over you won't be disappointed!

My goodness, this place is incredible. The prices are high but they are worth every penny. We loved it so much. Everything we got was amazing. We got five things and paid $50 but I would go back and spend that again right now. This place is heaven and waiting in the line was worth it. A must visit

Always amazing pastries. Literally the flakiest and freshest pastries I've ever had! This is an order and go place, no seating, so just keep that in mind. Won't keep me from driving 40 mins to get there though! It's 100% worth the drive and every dollar spent here. They're also super nice. Don't pass it up!
